Description
COMING SOON
Your controls. Your simulator.
The PWS IO32 is a PropWash Simulation controller board for building custom simulator controls, with support for load-cell inputs. From flight decks and racing rigs to other simulator projects, it gives builders a way to bring their own controls into the experience.
Build around load cells
Load cells measure applied force, making them useful for pressure-sensitive controls such as racing brake pedals and flight-simulator toe brakes. The PWS IO32 uses an HX711-based load-cell interface for custom pedal and control projects.
Custom PropWash Simulation software
The PWS IO32 uses custom software developed by PropWash Simulation, based on the FreeJoy software, to configure your simulator controls.
Software downloads
Download IO32 Configurator Rev22 — Windows 64-bit (ZIP, 30.8 MB)
Extract the entire ZIP, then open PWS_Configurator.exe from the extracted folder. Keep the EXE, DLLs, and subfolders together. This is a portable package; no separate application installation is required.
Download IO32 firmware v0.3.9 (ZIP)
Extract the firmware ZIP to obtain PWS-IO32_firmware_v0.3.9.bin. The configurator and firmware are separate downloads.
Compatibility: Rev22 load-cell calibration is intended for firmware version 0.3.9. Back up your existing device configuration before making changes. See README_FIRST.txt in the configurator package for setup details.
For flight, racing, and beyond
Use it as the foundation for a custom cockpit, a racing pedal project, or controls for another simulator. Available functions depend on your hardware setup, configuration, and the inputs supported by your simulator.
In development. Final hardware specifications, supported load-cell wiring, pricing, and availability will be announced before release.
